Three-bed cottage and independent one-bed wooden annex on a lovely, sandy beach at Kilnaughton Bay on the Isle of Islay. Pets welcome by arrangement for a small charge.
In the main (white) house: 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen-diner and lounge around a central chimney with a wood-burner. Oak and slate floors, wireless internet. Sleeps 6 comfortably, can accommodate up to 8.
The larch-clad guest house sleeps 2-3. One double bedroom, shower-room, kitchen-diner and a lounge with sofa bed overlooking the beach. Douglas fir panels, under-floor heating & large wood-burner give it a cosy, modern feel.
Weekly lets Saturday-Saturday from April to October, short-stays possible at other times. Winter stays from £600/week.
Close to the lovely fishing village of Port Ellen. Ardbeg, Laphroaig & Lagavulin distilleries are within walking distance on off-road path.
